Here we will display our Interactive Maps of New Jersey! They provide context and clear visualization of the effect of COVID-19 on our community today, alongside means of treatment and vaccination in hopes of returning to normalcy within the state.
ARCGIS Map: Current PCR Cases / Vaccination Centers Per County
This map shows the number of confirmed PCR cases per county in the state of New Jersey. The interactive interface receives the data from the New Jersey Department of Health (NJDOH), and is updated on a daily basis.
Another data set integrated by the NJDOH which shows a positive correlation when layered with the cases is the number of Acute Care Hospitals found in New Jersey, capable of treating patients affected by COVID
Finally, integrated into the map is a data set created by Dr. David Tulloch, a professor at Rutgers University, which shows vaccination sites in New Jersey. By looking at proximity to one's residence, those looking to get vaccinated can get in contact with their local pharmacy/hospital/vaccination megacenter to receive their vaccine in a timely and efficient manner.
